Ushiberd

Ushiberd is an ancient Iron Age fortress situated on a prominent hill just outside the village of Ushi in the Aragatsotn Province of Armenia. While the specific year of its initial construction is not recorded in detail, the site encompasses a much deeper history, having served as an ancient settlement dating back to the third through first millennia BC. The fortress itself was erected during the Iron Age, utilizing large stones to create formidable fortification walls and internal structures that dominated the landscape.
