Naples

Naples is the regional capital city of Campania in southern Italy and serves as the third-largest city in the country, with a population of approximately 905,050 residents. The city is located in a strategically important position near Mount Vesuvius and covers an area of 119.02 square kilometers at an elevation of 99.8 meters. Naples is known by several names in different languages, including Napoli in Italian and Napule in the Neapolitan dialect, and residents are referred to as Napoletani or Partenopei.
