The Teutonic Castle in Świecie is a historic partial ruin situated in the town of Świecie within the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship of Poland. Constructed between 1335 and 1350 by the Teutonic Knights, the fortress was built in the Gothic architectural style on the site of a former Pomeranian ducal gord. Strategically positioned at the confluence of the Vistula and Wda rivers, the complex originally featured four corner towers, defensive walls, and a moat. Today, only one circular tower topped with merlons remains in full shape, standing as a prominent landmark on the riverbank while the rest of the structure exists as a preserved ruin.

The castle possesses a turbulent history marked by military conflict and changing ownership. In 1410, Polish forces looted the site during wartime, and following the Second Peace of Thorn in 1466, the property passed to the Kingdom of Poland. During the sixteenth century, Castellan Konopacki reconstructed parts of the facility in the Renaissance style, but subsequent devastation occurred during the historical period known as the Deluge. The castle was never fully rebuilt after this destruction and suffered further damage when Prussian forces utilized the grounds for military training exercises. Despite these setbacks, the site has survived centuries of neglect and conflict to remain a significant cultural monument.

In its current condition, the castle has undergone renovation efforts focusing on the surviving tower and key structural elements. It now serves as a museum, allowing visitors to explore its rich heritage and architectural remnants. The site continues to be an important point of interest for those studying the region's medieval history and the legacy of the Teutonic Order.
