The Srebrenica Fortress, also known as Stari Grad, is a historic town-fortress situated in the town of Srebrenica within Bosnia and Herzegovina. Constructed during the Middle Ages, the exact year of its foundation remains unknown, though it served as a functional military installation until the end of the 17th century. The structure was built primarily using limestone arranged in dry stone walling, a technique characteristic of regional fortifications from that era. Today, the site exists as a ruin under the ownership and protection of the Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Historically, the fortress played a strategic role during regional conflicts, most notably seeing action during the Bosnia-Serbia War in the first half of the 16th century. Its long period of use suggests it was a vital defensive point through various shifting political landscapes, including the Ottoman period.
