Siesikai Castle is a historic residential castle located near the town of Siesikai in the Ukmergė district of Lithuania, situated directly on the shores of Siesikai Lake. Originally constructed in the 16th century by Gabrielius Daumantas-Siesickis, the structure was initially designed in the Renaissance style. The founding family, known as the Daumantai or Siesicki, lent their surname to the nearby settlement. Over the centuries, the architectural character of the site evolved significantly; following 1820, Dominik Dowgiałło reconstructed the masonry palace in the Neoclassical style. While the original fortress featured four corner towers, only two of these defensive structures remain standing today, serving as a testament to its earlier fortification design.

The castle holds significant cultural value and was officially designated as a national cultural monument of Lithuania on February 13, 2008. After periods of decline, dedicated restoration efforts have been underway since 1990 to preserve the remaining architecture, which includes elements of Brick Gothic and later stylistic additions. In recent years, the site has undergone important administrative changes to ensure its preservation and public accessibility. In 2018, the manor homestead was transferred from the national government to the Ukmergė District Municipality Administration.

Subsequently, in 2019, management of the property was handed over to the Ukmergė Local History Museum, which established a branch within the castle grounds. This transition marks a new chapter for the landmark, shifting its primary function toward education and historical exhibition. Today, Siesikai Castle stands as a protected heritage site that reflects centuries of Lithuanian history, from its origins as a noble family seat to its current role as a municipal museum. The ongoing restoration continues to stabilize the structure, allowing visitors to explore the remnants of its towers and learn about the region's past through the local history museum's curated displays.
