Petriș is a commune located in Arad County, Romania, situated along the banks of the Mureș River and its tributary, Valea Roșie. Positioned at the contact zone between the Mureș Couloir and the Metaliferi Mountains, it lies approximately 106 kilometers east of the county seat, Arad, near the border with Hunedoara County.
