Livada is a town situated in north-western Romania within Satu Mare County, located approximately 24 kilometers from the county seat. Geographically, it rests at an altitude of 130 meters on the banks of the Racta River and its tributary, the Egher. Historically known by its Hungarian name, Sárköz, and formerly as Șarchiuz in Romanian, the settlement reflects a rich multicultural heritage.
