Kliczków Castle, known historically as Schloss Klitschdorf, is a historic site located in the village of Kliczków within the Lower Silesian Voivodeship of Poland. Originally founded in 1297 by Duke Bolko I of Jawor as a strategic border fortress on the Kwisa River, the structure has evolved significantly over seven centuries. While its origins are medieval, the main building was reconstructed in 1585 in the Renaissance style. Further major expansions occurred in 1881 under architects Heinrich Joseph Kayser and Karl von Großheim, who created a unique architectural blend of English Gothic, Italian Renaissance, and French Mannerism. The grounds also feature an expansive English country garden designed by Eduard Petzold during this same period.

The castle holds profound historical significance due to its long association with the Solms-Baruth dynasty, who owned the property from 1767 until 1942. It hosted notable figures such as Emperor Wilhelm II in 1906 and King Matthias of Bohemia in 1611. During the Nazi era, the last private owner, Frederick of Solms-Baruth, was an active member of the anti-Nazi Kreisau Circle resistance. Following his arrest after the failed plot against Hitler, the family's assets were confiscated. Although the building survived World War II largely intact, it suffered from interior looting by Soviet troops, a damaging fire in 1949, and subsequent neglect under communist forest authority management.

After an unsuccessful preservation attempt by the Wrocław University of Technology in the 1970s, the castle was purchased by a commercial company from Wrocław following the fall of Communism. It was meticulously restored and reopened in 1999 as a luxurious conference and recreation center. Today, the facility remains in active use for high-end events and hospitality, though it is not generally open to the public for casual tourism. The site retains unique historical elements, including the original horse cemetery of the former owners, standing as a testament to its resilient and varied past.
