Broniszów Castle is a historic structure located in the village of Broniszów, within the Gmina Kożuchów of Nowa Sól County in the Lubusz Voivodeship of western Poland. The site's origins date back to the twelfth century when it was originally constructed as a knight's castle, serving as a fortified residence for local nobility during the medieval period. Over the centuries, the function and form of the building evolved significantly to meet changing needs and aesthetic preferences. During the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, the original medieval fortress was transformed into a more residential court building, marking a shift from purely defensive purposes to a status symbol of aristocratic life.

The current architectural appearance largely reflects renovations undertaken in later centuries. The main structure is a three-storey building constructed from brick and stone, showcasing distinct Renaissance influences. In the nineteenth century, the complex was further modified with the addition of tower walls designed in the Neo-Gothic style, blending different historical architectural elements into a single cohesive estate. This layering of styles provides a visual timeline of the castle's long history, from its medieval roots through the Renaissance era and into the modern age.

In terms of its modern history and current condition, the castle has found a new purpose as a cultural hub. Since 1986, the grounds and buildings have housed the Broniszów National Photographic Workshops. This adaptation has ensured the preservation of the site by giving it an active role in the arts community. Today, it stands not only as a reminder of the region's feudal past but also as a functioning venue for photography enthusiasts, maintaining its relevance in contemporary Polish culture while preserving its historical integrity.
