Brok is a historic town located in Ostrów County within the Masovian Voivodeship of Poland. First mentioned in 1203 and granted official town rights in 1501, it sits at the strategic intersection of National Road 50 and Voivodeship Road 694, with the S8 expressway running nearby. As of late 2021, the town is home to approximately 1,876 residents. While often associated with castle ruins, Brok is technically a municipal settlement that preserves significant architectural heritage, including a distinctive church blending Gothic and Renaissance styles, a historic town hall, and two preserved windmills that highlight its traditional character.

The site famously features the ruins of the Bishops' Castle, a remnant of the town's ecclesiastical past when it served as a residence for local bishops.
