Smolec

Smolec is a village located in the administrative district of Gmina Kąty Wrocławskie within Wrocław County, in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship of south-western Poland. First mentioned in historical records in 1323 under the Latin name Smolz, the settlement has evolved through various names over the centuries, including Schmolz and Smoltsch, reflecting its long-standing presence in the region.
