Huthridurga

Huthridurga, also known as Uttari Betta, is a historic village and fortified hill located in the Kunigal taluk of the Tumkur district in Karnataka, India. Situated approximately 65 kilometers west of Bengaluru and 15 kilometers south-east of Kunigal, the site rises to an elevation of 1,142 meters above mean sea level. The settlement was founded by Kempegowda I, a prominent figure in the region's history. While the surrounding village serves as a local hub with a population of under one thousand people speaking Kannada, the primary attraction remains the imposing hill fort that dominates the landscape.
