Czchów Castle

Czchów Castle stands as a historic Romanesque ruin situated in the town of Czchów within Brzesko County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, Poland. Perched prominently on a hill locally known as the Keep on the Dunajec, the structure overlooks the Dunajec River and was originally constructed during the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries. Built primarily from sandstone, this royal fortress served as a significant defensive and administrative site within the historical Kraków Voivodeship during the sixteenth century.
