Castello di Nibbiola

Castello di Nibbiola is a historic fortress located in the municipality of Nibbiola within the Province of Novara, in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. Situated approximately ten kilometers southeast of the city of Novara and eighty kilometers northeast of Turin, the castle stands as a prominent landmark in this small community. The structure was originally erected in 1198 by the commune's consuls, specifically under the leadership of Graciano of San Vittore. Constructed primarily from traditional brickwork, the building exemplifies medieval defensive architecture typical of the area, featuring two corner towers on the entrance facade and a central tower that guards the approach.

The castle holds significant historical value due to its longevity and strategic evolution over eight centuries.
